It’s no secret that lumber prices have fluctuated quite a bit this year. In May and June of 2021, lumber prices had increased by 75 percent, leaving many businesses with no choice but to increase the prices of their products. Here at Raber Storage Barns, we added a 5 to 12 percent surcharge to all of our structures to account for the increase in lumber prices.

Luckily, lumber prices have fallen over the past several months. In fact, they dropped to historic lows in September. As a result, Raber has removed the surcharge on all of our products, meaning that our customers can purchase a storage building at its regular cost. While other companies continue to sell their wood-based products at an increased price, our prices are “back to normal,” meaning it’s the perfect time to purchase one of our storage buildings.

What’s more? Even with supply chain disruptions, Raber still has plenty of inventory and raw materials on hand.
